Incomplete Campaign Contribution Reports for Waco ISD At-Large Candidates
The race for the at-large seat on the Waco Independent School District board is heating up as campaign contribution reports remain incomplete for both incumbent Keith Guillory and challenger Lauren Caldwell. With the election just days away, both candidates have failed to submit their eight-day reports as required by state election law.
Guillory, who is seeking reelection for a second three-year term, was the only candidate to submit a 30-day report, showing $6,775 in contributions and $3,981.78 in political expenses. His largest contributors included the Waco Firefighter Public Safety Committee and local donors Rick Hines and Lyndon Olson Jr.
On the other hand, Caldwell, a worship leader at Mercy Culture Church, has yet to submit any reports but has raised $3,568 through an online fundraiser on her Instagram campaign website. The fundraiser has received 26 donations, with the largest being $777 from Maria Pizarro.
With the election just around the corner, voters are eager to see how these campaign contributions will impact the race for the at-large seat on the Waco ISD board. Stay tuned for updates as the candidates work to meet the reporting requirements and make their final push before Election Day.
