BKU Charuni decides not to contest Lok Sabha elections, to focus on Haryana assembly elections under SSP banner
The Bharatiya Kisan Union Charuni made a significant decision during their meeting in Kurukshetra on Wednesday, announcing that they will not be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on the symbol of Gurnam Singh Charuni’s Sanyukt Sangharsh Party (SSP). Instead, they have decided to focus their efforts on the state assembly elections in Haryana.
Gurnam Singh Charuni, the leader of the union, stated that all aspects related to contesting elections were thoroughly discussed during the meeting. He emphasized that the SSP will be contesting on all 90 seats in the Haryana assembly elections, and any future agitations will also be carried out under the banner of the party.
When asked about their support for any political party in the Lok Sabha elections, Charuni expressed disappointment with the Congress party for not addressing the concerns of farmers. He highlighted that no farm leader has been given a ticket by Congress and criticized former Chief Minister Hooda for his lack of support.
As a result, the BKU Charuni decided not to support any specific party in the upcoming elections. Charuni urged his supporters and workers to focus on the policies discussed in the meeting and prepare for contesting all 90 seats in the Haryana assembly elections.
Charuni emphasized the importance of participating in politics to bring about meaningful change, stating that all political parties in the country are working to benefit capitalists. He called for patriots who are willing to fight for the country to join the SSP and work towards saving the nation.
The decision made by the Bharatiya Kisan Union Charuni marks a significant shift in their political strategy and sets the stage for a potentially impactful presence in the upcoming state assembly elections in Haryana.
