Chennai: Tamil Nadu Congress President and Alliance Leaders Thank CM Stalin for Campaign

Tamil Nadu Congress president K Selvaperunthagai and his party candidates expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister M K Stalin for his extensive campaign efforts in the state. Leaders from other alliance parties and ministers also met with Stalin to convey their appreciation for his hard work.

Selvaperunthagai, speaking to reporters after the meeting, emphasized the importance of securing a big win in the upcoming elections before the next meeting with the chief minister. Congress contested in nine constituencies in Tamil Nadu and one in Puducherry as part of the INDIA bloc.

IUML president Kader Mohideen praised Stalin’s campaign as “classic propaganda” and highlighted the impact it will have on the alliance’s success in the state. Mohideen commended Stalin for his dedication and efforts, stating that his campaign will not only lead to victory in Tamil Nadu but also bring about a positive change across the country.

Stalin’s campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections spanned 20 days, with the chief minister covering two constituencies per day. He engaged with the public through market visits, roadshows, and public meetings, showcasing his commitment to connecting with voters.

Various leaders, including Kongu Makkal Desiya Katchi general secretary E R Eswaran and ministers Duraimurugan, K Ponmudy, and T M Anbarasan, met with Stalin to express their gratitude for his campaign efforts. The DMK MPs and other party members also thanked Stalin for his tireless work during the election season.

The meeting with Stalin highlighted the unity and appreciation within the alliance, with leaders recognizing the chief minister’s efforts as instrumental to their success. As the election results draw near, the alliance remains hopeful for a positive outcome based on the groundwork laid out by Stalin’s campaign.
