AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi confident in facing challenges from Congress, BJP, and BRS in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

In a recent exclusive interview with ANI, All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi expressed his confidence in facing challenges from all political parties including Congress, BJP, and BRS in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Owaisi emphasized the beauty of democracy, stating that anyone can contest elections and challenge anyone, showcasing his faith and confidence in the work done by his party in the last five years.

Referring to the BJP candidate Madhavi Latha as a potential challenge in the elections, Owaisi recalled the 1996 elections where BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu lost, highlighting the unpredictable nature of elections. He stated, “It’s not that it’s a challenge, all the opponents of Congress, BRS, BJP, or Independent candidates will challenge us. We have full faith and confidence in our efforts and work done in the last five years.”

Responding to Madhavi Latha’s prediction of defeating him by a margin of over 1 lakh votes, Owaisi remained unfazed, stating that the results on June 4 will reveal the true confidence of the candidates. He reiterated that the AIMIM’s fight is against the ideology of BJP and their actions in the past decade.

When questioned about Madhavi Latha’s controversial gesture towards a mosque, Owaisi condemned the act, stating that it exposed the BJP’s intentions to disrupt the peace in Hyderabad. He emphasized that the BJP is the enemy of Hyderabad’s peace and their actions are an attempt to destroy the harmony in the region.

As the Lok Sabha Elections approach, the competition in the Hyderabad constituency heats up with Madhavi Latha set to challenge the four-time MP Owaisi. This marks the first time the BJP has fielded a female candidate in Hyderabad, adding significance to the electoral battle.

With voting scheduled for May 13 in Telangana, all eyes are on the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, known for its strong AIMIM presence. As the political landscape evolves, Owaisi remains confident in his party’s grassroots efforts and connection with the people, aiming for positive results on June 4 when the votes are counted.
