Nearly Half of Voters Would Replace Both Candidates on the 2024 Ballot, Survey Finds

As the 2024 presidential race heats up, a new Pew Research Center survey reveals that about half of registered voters would replace both candidates on the ballot if given the chance. The survey, conducted from April 8 to April 14, 2024, found that 49% of voters express dissatisfaction with the current choices of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

Among those surveyed, 62% of Biden supporters and 35% of Trump supporters stated that they would replace both candidates if they had the opportunity. Additionally, there were significant age differences in these views, with 66% of voters under 30 expressing a desire to replace both candidates, compared to 54% of those ages 30 to 49 and 43% of those 50 and older.

These findings highlight the widespread discontent among voters with the current presidential candidates and suggest a desire for alternative options in the upcoming election. As the race continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how this sentiment will impact the final outcome in November.
